Day and Night, Different Her: Characters, Information, Episodes, and Official Videos

Lee Mi-jin - Jung Eun-ji
Im Soon - Lee Jung-eun
Mi-jin is a 'job seeker', and among them, she's a 'civil service exam taker' from a low-income background.
Recently, she received a notice of failure in the 'Environmental Public Official' exam, which she considered to be her last chance, and her bright youth was shattered.
Her fruitless efforts came to a meaningless end.
Unable to tell her mother the truth after she mistakenly thought Mi-jin had passed, she wandered outside, got completely drenched in a thunderstorm,
and that night,
the blooming 20-year-old Mi-jin wakes up as an old lady.
Why this tragedy? Why me???
And that day, Mi-jin sees a 'Senior Intern Recruitment' notice by chance.
Since it's already like this, she (slightly) borrows the identity of her aunt who ran away from home decades ago and whose whereabouts are unknown,
and applies for the 'Senior Intern' position hosted by the SeoHan city.
She gets the job right away and her assigned workplace is the Prosecutor's Office.
Lee Mi-jin, or rather, Im Soon, begins her work as a Senior Intern at the Prosecutor's Office.

Gye Ji-woong - Choi Jin-hyuk
Gye Ji-woong becomes a different person when he wears glasses.
His colleagues are exhausted from working with him, but the problem isn't the exhaustion from work, it's the exhaustion from dealing with people.
Moreover, the bigger problem is that he works more than 20 hours out of 24.
He's a workaholic with no personal life, who works even on weekends, holidays, and long weekends, and is a perfectionist who doesn't tolerate any mistakes or errors related to work. In short, he's a uniquely annoying person.
The biggest rival to appear in Gye Ji-woong's seemingly unbreakable prosecutor's office.
It's Senior Intern Im Soon.
A reckless middle-aged woman who doesn't understand common sense or logic.
When she's in trouble, she pretends not to see!
When something bothers her, she pretends not to hear!
She pushes through, using her age and experience to her advantage!
With her endless meddlesomeness and unnecessary concern, she makes him really annoyed.
She's truly Gye Ji-woong's nemesis.
Gye Ji-woong tries to get rid of Im Soon by assigning her all sorts of tedious tasks.
However, she flawlessly completes every task assigned to her, leaving Gye Ji-woong baffled... What is her real identity?

Go Won - Baek Seo-hoo
The main vocalist of King Land, a top idol group in Korea, and a versatile entertainer who also handles songwriting and composing.
The success he achieved at a young age left him with emptiness. He couldn't sleep and sought sleeping pills, and as he became addicted to them,
an article was published.
To salvage his ruined image, he even gave up his dual nationality and enlisted in the military.
He became a public service worker in a rural area called SeoHan city.
The biggest problem is that the prosecutor who handled Go Won's case happened to be in the SeoHan District Prosecutors' Office.
In the midst of this, an incident occurred where the malicious commenter Go Won had sued broke into the office and attacked Go Won.
At the moment when the malicious commenter's sulfuric acid was about to hit Go Won, Im Soon appeared with a mop handle and beat the malicious commenter.
Go Won's heart was captivated by the charisma of a 60-year-old woman. That old lady, she's so charming!

Ju Byeong-deok - Yoon Byeong-hee
He once worked with Prosecutor Gye Ji-woong 10 years ago, when Gye Ji-woong first entered the Prosecutor's Office.
After working under Gye Ji-woong and suffering from nervous exhaustion that required psychiatric treatment, he's the only one who survived a full year under Prosecutor Gye Ji-woong.
Ju Byeong-deok is a living legend in the investigation team.
Due to his past achievements, as soon as Gye Ji-woong arrived at the SeoHan District Prosecutors' Office, Ju Byeong-deok was assigned to his team, making it a 'hellish' assignment.
He doesn't get intimidated by Gye Ji-woong and speaks his mind (grumbling).

Tak Cheon-hui - Moon Ye-won
A prosecutor who is an alumnus of Gye Ji-woong and a graduate of law school.
Just when she was about to escape from the dreadful SeoHan District Prosecutors' Office, Gye Ji-woong was transferred there.
Tak Cheon-hui is the only one who sees Gye Ji-woong as a rival, though Gye Ji-woong doesn't acknowledge her as one.
She's been chasing after Gye Ji-woong relentlessly, and now she wonders if she's chasing him out of jealousy or affection.
If the day comes when she finally defeats Gye Ji-woong, she might be able to leave the Prosecutor's Office without any regrets, but,
until then, she has no plans to leave.

Cha Jae-seong - Kim Gwang-sik
The second-in-command who wants to become the real power in the SeoHan District Prosecutors' Office.
He actively promotes the 'Senior Intern' program that SeoHan city is implementing on a large scale, aiming to make a strong impression for the purpose of relocating the Prosecutor's Office.
He thought it would be a good opportunity to give the old folks something to do in their spare time, but among them, Intern Im Soon caught his attention.
Unable to contain his temper, he fired all the staff and shamelessly requested reinforcements for Gye Ji-woong's team, and then he placed Intern Im Soon there.
right there.

Do Ga-yeong - Kim A-young
Mi-jin's best friend. She's a makeup artist and a top beauty YouTuber with a million subscribers, originally a fan of idols.
She's quite famous for her 'Do Ga-yeong's Anti-Aging Makeup' videos,
and has a cute, lively, and mischievous image, which has attracted a considerable number of male fans.
She's the daughter of a building owner, so she can pursue her dreams freely and aims for great success.

Im Cheong - Jung Yeong-ju
Mi-jin's mother. She's a kind person but lacks competence, and she's spent her life supporting her husband who's gotten involved in debt guarantees and scams.
It's because of her husband that she's always emphasized that a 'tenured government employee' is the best job for Mi-jin from a young age.
Due to her husband's lack of ability to manage finances, she became the head of the household early on.
She's been running a butcher shop in the Do family's building for 30 years, and her knife skills are incredible.
When she gets really angry, she puts on a knife show that no one can stop.
After her only younger sister suddenly ran away from home, she couldn't leave and became a lifelong resident of SeoHan city.
Although she doesn't tell her family, she still hopes that her sister will come back someday.
Her only hope is for her daughter Mi-jin to pass the civil service exam.

Lee Hak-chan - Jeong Seok-yong
Mi-jin's father. His clumsy movements and slow speech make him seem even more frustrating.
He may seem indecisive and have a Hamlet complex, but he has a kind heart.
He always feels sorry for Mi-jin when she's under pressure from her strong-willed mother, as if he sees a reflection of himself.
He feels sorry for being a poor father who can only secretly give her 10,000 or 20,000 won in allowance.
He has known Pyeon Gang for a long time and is so close that he even knows how many spoons are in Pyeon Gang's house.
If he gets chased out by his wife, he immediately escapes to Pyeon Gang's real estate office.
In the past, he tried to find his missing sister-in-law with Pyeon Gang, visiting cafes in the city.
He was tricked by a cafe madam and almost ruined his family's finances. He feels deeply guilty about that incident.
Since that day, Hak-chan has been living a quiet life as a butcher deliveryman,
and Pyeon Gang hasn't dared to raise the rent for Im Cheong's shop for 20 years.
